GRANGER, Ind.—National eat ice cream for breakfast day typically lands on the first Saturday in February.
One local ice cream store in Granger is opening its doors early for National eat ice cream for breakfast day. PaddyShack Ice Cream will open at 8 a.m.
Since Paddyshack Ice Cream opened its doors in 2020, they've been taking part in the fun holiday.
The ice cream shop is offering a special breakfast menu where you can get a scoop from any of their 32 ice cream flavors. The ice cream scoop will be placed on a warm -freshly made waffle. You can also choose to have toppings on your treat.
Now, it may seem contradictory to eat ice cream, especially in these colder temperatures. But, Michelle Padrnos, the owner of PaddyShack Ice Cream said she has gotten a good response from customers, and this is their busiest day of the winter season.
