SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Local political expert Jack Colwell on Thursday morning weighed in on the Democratic National Convention ahead of the event’s last night.
Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is set to deliver a speech on Thursday night from South Bend as part of the DNC.
“I think he [Buttigieg] will be a part of the Biden administration if Joe Biden is elected president. I think tonight he will put in a plug for South Bend,” Colwell said.
Buttigieg participated in the DNC's roll call to formally nominate Joe Biden for president on Tuesday night.
The entire convention was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
