Cool today, frigid on the way
ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- The Sandbar & Grille in St. Joseph has been hosting a fundraiser on Thursday to donate all money made after 5 p.m. to the family of Mattox Williams, the St. Joseph High School freshman who is currently battling a rare form of cancer.

The 15-year-old, who is also known as "Smiley", used to play the forward position for his freshman basketball team at Saint Joseph High School before stepping away to start treatment on his bone cancer at the University of Michigan.
Everyone is encouraged to attend the benefit while the Sandbar Grille remains open on Thursday.
