Local celebrities are dancing for money.
15 recognizable names from across Michiana are taking the dance floor to help neighbors facing homelessness, in the Center for the Homeless "Dancing With Our Stars".
This year's lineup includes Notre Dame running back Logan Diggs, South Bend Community School Corporation superintendent Todd Cummings, and ABC57 NightTeam anchor Tim Spears.
For the next month, each dancer is gathering “votes” in the form of donations. Each vote is $43, the daily cost to feed and shelter a guest at the Center.
Dancing With Our Stars is Friday, April 22, at the Hilton Garden Inn South Bend.
