Lori Camp accepts invitation to Indiana 2nd Congressional District debate

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Camp for Congress campaign announced Lori Camp has accepted the invitation from the Indiana University South Bend American Democracy Project to participate in an Indiana 2nd Congressional District debate.

Within the inv acceptance announcement, Team Camp for Congress states, "Our campaign has been advised that the Libertarian candidate, William Henry, has also accepted an invitation, but current Representative “Community” Rudy Yakym has once again declined for the second election cycle in a row. We are disappointed that Mr. Yakym has decided that participating in public discourse regarding issues important to his constituents is not a worthwhile use of his time as an elected official."

Camp says she’s ready to answer questions and have discussions that are important to northern Indiana Hoosiers.

You to watch or listen to the debate on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. on ABC57, WNIT 34.1, and on WVPE 88.1 and WVPE.org.
