Madison STEM Academy receives $4,000 grant

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Madison STEM Academy received a $4,000 Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Connections in Education grant.

This grant will introduce students to aerospace-themed lessons that focus on science, technology, engineering and math topics, character education, and physical fitness.

There will be 26 teachers to receive access to the ACE curriculum.

The CAP ACE STEM program this grant will fund comes with student uniforms, t-shirts, and other hands-on materials for the classroom.

Additionally, Madison students will receive mentoring, resources, information about other STEM-related careers, and live demonstrations from Adams High School’s Civil Air Patrol Squadron students.
