ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- The 130-year-old Maids of the Mist fountain in Lake Bluff Park is going to be removed temporarily for repairs.
The statue was presented to the city in 1892.
It was restored back in the 1970s but needs major repairs.
The goal is to have the fountain return to its home along Lake Boulevard by the middle of August.
