Main Street bridge in Niles reopens

The Michigan Department of Transportation held a reopening ceremony for the Main Street bridge on Thursday.
It reopened to traffic at 5 p.m.
Construction on the historic bridge started in October 2014.
The cost of construction was more than $10 million.
The reconstruction maintained the bridge's historic appearance as well as improved safety.
