MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- St. Joseph County officials announced on Friday that the northbound lane maintenance on the Main Street bridge has been completed and that the lane closure will switch to the southbound lanes beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1.

"Southbound traffic will be detoured to Fir Road utilizing University Drive and Douglas Road," Mishawaka officials said.

"This southbound lane closure is expected to take approximately two to three months. Electronic message boards are currently in place to warn the traveling public of the upcoming traffic disruption."
