SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Starting on Monday, June 15, Main Street between LaSalle and Colfax Avenues will close for water connection work for the Colfax Corner development.

The detour route will be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard via Colfax Avenue. The anticipated reopening date is Friday, June 19, weather permitting.

LaSalle Avenue will remain open to traffic traveling West and East during construction. Main Street between Marion and LaSalle Avenue remains closed for a separate water main installation through June 26.
