Major accident sends one man to the hospital

A two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Thursday night in Niles, Mich.
The accident happened near the intersection of Brush Road and May Street.
One man involved in the accident was pinned in the back seat of one of the vehicles when police and fire crews arrived on the scene.
The pinned man was freed from the vehicle and airlifted via MedFlight to the hospital for unknown injuries.
No other injuries were reported from the accident.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
