Man, 6-year-old son critically injured in motorcycle crash

A 35-year-old St. Joseph County man and his 6-year-old son were taken to the hospital for critical injuries after officers say their motorcycle crashed into a stopped car, ejecting both.

Gene Demorrow was driving the motorcycle, with his son on the back, when they hit the car in Berrien County.

Both were wearing helmets, and emergency crews took them to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Michigan City.

The woman driving the car was not injured.
