Man accused of fatally stabbing Mishawaka woman appears in court

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A man accused of murder appeared in court Tuesday morning
Police believe William Karimu fatally stabbed Lois Hickey in her East Donaldson home back in December.
Investigators think he broke into her house trying to steal and killed her in the process.
Karimu’s plea deadline will be on December 5, while his records hearing is scheduled for January 2.
Karimu’s trial is set for February 4.
