Man arrested for allegedly spray painting bridge

A 23-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly spray painting a bridge at Beardsley Park, according to Elkhart Police.
At 4:41 p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to 100 E. Beardsley Avenue after a witness called police about a person painting the bridge.
The witness gave police a description of the suspect and when police arrived in the area, they located a man matching that description in the area.
An investigation was conducted and Jesus Huizar Hernandez was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal mischief.
