MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies responded to residence on 17th Road in Argos around 12:50 a.m. Tuesday in reference to an unwanted guest.

Officers with the Argos Police Department also responded to the scene.

Authorities found a physical altercation had occurred resulting in a woman being battered.

The report states 41-year-old Andrew D. Hayn of Argos was subsequently arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Hayn is charged with Domestic Battery - Simple Assault and was given a bond of $500.
