MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A 24-year-old man was arrested on July 3 after deputies were initially called for a possible domestic disturbance near Swan Lake Golf Course.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies working traffic control on Plymouth Laporte Trail were alerted to the possible disturbance around 10:09 p.m.

Authorities' investigation determined Brian Licona was drunk to the point of endangering himself and others.

The report states when deputies intervened in the situation Licona committed battery on them.

 Licona was taken to Marshall County Jail and charged with Public Intoxication and Battery on Law Enforcement.

His bond was set at $1,500.
