Man arrested for public nudity, said he was searching for cell phone

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - A Michigan City man was arrested for public nudity after deputies found him naked in the woods of Pinkhook Bog, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
At 9:57 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies were called out to the bog, which is near Wozniak Road, after a nearby resident said a naked man knocked on their door.
When the resident answered the door, the man ran toward Pinhook Bog.
Deputies met in the parking lot of the bog, where they heard a man's voice in the woods nearby.
They found the naked man about 75 yards into the woods.
That man, identified as 40-year-old Geoffrey Manthey, told deputies he was looking for his cell phone.
He is now being held at the La Porte County Jail.
