Man charged with public nudity, IDs himself as 'Wesley Snipes'
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A man who was arrested after allegedly fondling himself in public has been charged with public nudity. He's also accused of false informing for allegedly giving police the names of celebrities instead of identifying himself, according to court records.
A man who was naked and fondling himself in South Bend has been charged with public nudity and false informing, according to court records.
On October 6, South Bend Police were called to the area of Jefferson Boulevard and Michigan Street for a call of public nudity.
When the officer arrived, he saw Dustin Michael Smith attempting to pull his pants up, reports said.
A film crew working in the area told police Smith stripped naked and began to fondle himself near their location, according to the probable cause affidavit.
The officer spoke with Smith and asked his name. The man responded Wesley Snipes, Trey Songz and Ashanti Knowles, reports said.
Smith has been charged with public nudity and false informing.
