Man dies after vehicle strikes tree in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – An 80-year-old man died after deputies say his vehicle crashed into a tree on Long Lake Road Saturday morning.
According to Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the scene on Long Lake Road near Rangeline Road around 8:40 a.m.
Officials say 80-year-old James Braddock of Sawyer was driving a 2005 Lexus when his vehicle went off the roadway, struck a large tree, and came to rest in the center of the road.
Braddock died at the scene.
Deputies are still investigating this crash.
