Man dies in hospital after car collision

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a deadly crash Saturday morning.
The call came in around 8:36 a.m.
The accident happened on US 31 near 14C road in Plymouth.
43-year-old Mathew Bera was heading south on US 31.
Deputies say 67-year-old Robert Lant failed to yield the right-of-way and pulled into the path of Bera’s car causing the collision.
Bera and his wife, Terrie Bera, along with three children had complaints of pain and were transported to Saint Joseph Regional hospital for treatment.
Lant was transported to Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
He died at the hospital from his injuries.
