Man dies in two-vehicle crash on M-60

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - A man died in a two-vehicle crash on M-60 Monday night, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office.

At 8:13 p.m., deputies responded to the area of M-60 and Young's Prairie Road in Fabius Township for a two-vehicle crash.

According to the investigation, a 77-year-old Lawton man was driving north on Young's Prairie Road when he ran a stop sign at M-60 and hit a westbound truck driven by a 43-year-old Constantine man.

The 77-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead upon arriving.

The 43-year-old was not injured, according to reports.

Seatbelts were worn by both drivers involved.

Alcohol is not a factor in the crash, according to deputies.
