Man faces Felony Terrorism charges following threats against government staff

CENTREVILLE, Mich. -- The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a reported threat against government staff and employees at the Centreville Courthouse on Sept. 26.

The suspect, a 64-year-old White Pigeon area man, was apprehended without incident.

He was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail on charges of Threat of Terrorism, a Felony, Terrorism, a Felony, and Weapons - Carrying Concealed, a Felony.

Authorities say there's no active threat to the public at this time.

The suspect's arraignment has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Tuesday.
