Man fatally shot by police

GOSHEN, Ind. - Detectives with the Indiana State Police are investigating a police involved shooting. Indiana State Police say the suspect has died.At 10:13 Sunday night a deputy with the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department stopped a driver of a pickup truck near the area of State Road 15 and County Road 40.Indiana State Police say as the deputy walked up to the truck, the driver then sped away. The deputy then got back in his car and chased the truck, minutes later the deputy was being assisted by the Goshen Police Department.Police say the suspect crashed his truck into a building at 713 East Lincoln Avenue in Goshen.At this time police are not saying what happened after the crash but did confirm that the suspect was fatally shot by an officer.
