VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- A man was found shot to death inside his home in Geneva Township Thursday evening. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

Deputies were called to the Ports of Call mobile home community on CR 380 around 9 p.m. Thursday.

Inside the home, 47-year-old Shaun Pierre Gill, was found deceased. Deputies said he had been shot.

The case has been ruled a homicide.

The investigation is ongoing.
