Man hospitalized after getting hit by a train

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen Police located a man lying on the railroad tracks early Friday morning and discovered he had been hit by a train.

Police responded to the 2100 block of Elkhart Road and located a 29-year-old man with a large cut on his back, a cut on his head and complained of shortness of breath.

During the investigation, police learned he was hit by a train.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
