Man in jail after boating while intoxicated

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- A man is in the Van Buren County Jail after boating while under the influence Saturday night on Gravel Lake in Porter Township.
The operator of an 18' pontoon boat was cited by officers for drinking and operating his boat.
He had five passengers on board.
The suspect is a 53-year-old man from Illinois.
His name will not be released until his arraignment.
