Man injured in early morning shooting in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man early Friday morning on South Bend’s northwest side.

Officials say the shooting occurred near Lathrop and Huey around 12:15 a.m. on Friday morning.

Police located the victim, a 33-year-old male, in the 2200 block of Beverly Place.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening wound to the arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police have not made any arrests related to the incident, which remains under investigation.
