Man injured in shooting on Ashland Avenue in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. - The Elkhart Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured one person on Ashland Avenue Sunday evening.
Police were called out to the 1500 block just after 7 p.m. for the incident.
There, they found a 50-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries at a business in the area.
Officers then found a possible scene at a residence nearby.
Elkhart police continue to investigate the incident.
