Man injured in shooting on Prairie Avenue

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Prairie Avenue Monday evening.
Police were called to the 1900 block of Prairie Avenue around 10:45 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
They located a man who had been shot in the leg.
The victim was transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
