Teen injured in shooting on Prast Boulevard

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A teen was shot while inside a home in the 2400 block of Prast Boulevard Thursday, according to South Bend Police.
The shooting happened around 12:24 p.m.
South Bend Police responded to the area because of a ShotSpotter alert and 911 calls.
When they arrived they found a 16-year-old inside the home with wounds to both legs. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim told police he was at the home when he heard gunfire and then felt pain.
There is no description of the suspect.
