Man pistol-whipped, robbed in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A man was the target of an armed robbery in South Bend.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday on North Olive Street. The man was robbed and beaten with a gun and taken to the emergency room.
This is the second armed robbery with a gun in the past two days. Wednesday morning, a convenience store was robbed on Western Avenue.
