Man recovering after bypass accident

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. — A man is recovering from a morning crash on the bypass in St. Joseph County.
Police say he possibly blew a tire and hit a barricade near Mayflower Road.
The driver was rushed to the hospital but is expected to be released.
Officers spent an hour cleaning up the crash scene. The cleanup required crews to shutdown that section of the bypass.
