Man robbed near downtown South Bend

South Bend, Ind.- For the second night in a row South Bend Police investigated an armed robbery. This robbery occured at the corner of LaSalle and Notre Dame Ave.
Just after 2 a.m. police say a man was held up at gunpoint. The victim said that three suspects approached him and demanded money. The victim was not hurt. The suspects ran off. Police patrolled the area but could not locate the suspects.
Last night police responded to the Candlewood Suites on Lincolnway West. The hotel was held up by a man and then ran off after checking out with some cash.
