Man sentenced to 120 months in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend man was sentenced to time in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Darcy Neily, 41, was sentenced to 120 months in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The 120 month sentence will be followed by two years of supervised release.

Neily unlawfully possessed a firearm after being convicted for seven prior felony offenses.

The case was investigated by ATF, the South Bend Police Department and the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit.
