Man struck and killed by semi on I-94

Michigan State Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a semi and a pedestrian that occurred Sunday evening.
Authorities say at approximately 7:15 p.m., 25-year-old Jared Carr was out of his vehicle and in a lane of travel of I-94 near exit 95 to Battle Creek, when he was hit by a semitrailer.
Carr was pronounced dead at the scene.
MSP asks if anyone witnessed the crash or has any information, to contact the MSP Marshall Post at 269-558-0500.
