Man swallowed in Florida sinkhole still not found

SEFFNER, Fla. -- Officials have called off the search for the man who was swallowed by a sinkhole in Florida.

Crews now plan to begin demolishing the home that sits on top of that sinkhole.

They say they couldn't find the body of Jeremy Brush, who fell in, because the ground is so unstable and continues to collapse.

Officials are trying to help the grieving family in another way.

Ronnie Rivera of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said officials set up a fund for the family.

Friday, Brush was in his Florida home and disappeared into the sinkhole as it began to swallow the house.

The hole now has a 20-foot-wide opening.
