MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports a deputy stopped a black Jeep on May 30 around 5:30 p.m. for traveling 93 miles per hour on US 30 where the posted speed limit is 60 miles per hour.

The report states the deputy found that the driver, identified as 31-year-old Shawn C. Allen Jr. of Indianapolis, had been drinking alcohol.

Allen agreed to field sobriety tests and a certified breath test, the report said.

Allen was found to have been intoxicated and tested at .10 percent.

He was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and cited for Speeding and Open Container of Alcohol.

Allen was given a court date and a cash bond of $1500.
