Man who stole money from Kosciusko County woman in custody

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- The man who took nearly $20,000 from an elderly Kosciusko County woman is in custody.
Police say that Brian Schendel of Tennessee sold the the woman a car last year and then used her kindness to get her to send him cash.
Officers say she sent him up to $20,000.
