Man who was punched died from brain injury

FULTON COUNTY, Ind. -- The Fulton County Coroner has released new information in the death of Tony Coleman, who was punched at the Leiters Ford Tavern in May. After he was punched in the head, Coleman fell to the floor unconscious.


Coleman was pronounced dead at Woodlawn Hospital at 3 a.m. May 25.


His cause of death was "due to intraventricular and subarachnoid hemorrhage due to contusion and laceration of the corpus callosum and septum pellucidum of the brain."


His manner of death was determined to be homicide.
