SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Stenis Lowery, the man arrested after walking around South Bend and Mishawaka with an airsoft shotgun on Monday, was released from jail on Tuesday afternoon.
According to jail logs, no charges were applicable.
In the hours before his arrest, police attempted to make contact with Lowery, who would only communicate in sign language but did not engage with interpreters.
He had been walking around South Bend and Mishawaka holding an airsoft shotgun and a baby rabbit for seven hours before he was arrested.
