Ninety-degree highs for the Fourth of July
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- People all over the region prepared for Thanksgiving Day by cooking and cleaning, but some families opted to enjoy a meal at Tippecanoe Place in South Bend instead.
More than 1,000 people were expected to visit the venue for the special holiday dinner.
Patrons said it was a great way to spend time with family, without the hassle.
“Actually this is our first time here. We decided as a family to give it a try and kind of take a break from cooking and cleaning and all that. It's a fantastic opportunity to come see Tippecanoe Place,” said customer Nick Kaczynski.
While many families were having traditional thanksgiving dinners, Tippecanoe Place offered families a break from several hours of cooking and cleaning.
Customers were treated to gourmet spins on Thanksgiving classics and even got a tour of beautiful Tippecanoe Place.
