Mariah Carey joining the 'Idol' judging panel

Singer Mariah Carey can now add “judge" to her list of credits.
Music superstar, Mariah Carey will join American Idol. The five-time Grammy winner is set to make her debut on the judges’ panel this upcoming January.
The 43-year-old pop diva released a statement saying quote:
"As a singer, songwriter and producer, it's going to be fun and rewarding to help find new talent and give back with American Idol.
