Marijuana provisioning center in Buchanan makes first sale

BUCHANAN, Mich. – Michiana's first medical marijuana shop made their first sale on Friday.

Zen Leaf is a medical marijuana provisioning center in Buchanan, Michigan.

The amount of traction the shop has gotten so far has the people involved excited. 

“Our phones have been flooded already with phone calls from patients,” Anthony Marsico said, Executive VP of Retail. “They don’t have to drive 60 miles to go to a provisioning center to get their medicine.”

Zen Leaf will host an open house on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on East Front Street in downtown Buchanan.

There will be free snacks, giveaways and musical entertainment as well as cannabis patient registration booths.
