Marine and 2 women charged in murder case

VISTA, Calif. -- A Marine and two women were charged with kidnapping and murder in San Diego. 

Louis Perez, his mistress, and their "slave in bondage" have been charged with kidnapping Brittany Kilgore and then sexually torturing and killing her in a bizarre ritual.

The trio could face the death penalty.

"There's a process in the DA's office where a team of senior prosecutors meet with the trial prosecutor to discuss the case. And that's considered as well as input from the victim's family as well as individual meetings with the defense attorneys," said Patrick Espinoza, Deputy District Attorney.

The trio will be in court again in July.
