Marshall County hosts "Overdose Awareness Day" on August 31
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - Marshall County endeavors to bring awareness to the impact of overdose and to allow grieving individuals, families and first responders to come together.
On Thursday, August 31, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., Overdose Awareness Day will take place on the grounds of the Marshall County Courthouse.
Lunch will be provided for the first 75 attendees.
This event gathers local organizations David’s Courage, Bowen Center, Recover Michiana, and Dustin’s Place, who have teamed up with Allendale Treatment and Fort Wayne Recovery.
“Overdose does not discriminate” states Alicia Wells, Public Relations Liaison at Allendale Treatment. “If your family has been affected and you are looking for support, please join us for this event. We are here to hold your hand through this.”
The Marshall County Courthouse is located at 211 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN.
