MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind.--- The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a man who was caught on camera allegedly stealing packages from someone’s front porch. The man in the surveillance video was wearing a mask at the time of the alleged theft.
Kurt Robinson was at work Friday afternoon when he received a call from FedEx saying his neighbors found some of his packages.
“I got on my cameras to see if it captured anything and I had video of the front porch of him walking up and taking those,” said Robinson. “I said ‘Oh my God! Somebody actually came up and stole these packages!’ I couldn’t believe it.”
Robinson says the packages stolen were medical supplies for his job.
“Every package, if he wanted to do anything with them he’d have no use for them whatsoever,” said Robinson.
Robinson says he was able to recover most of the items that were stolen and is glad the alleged theft was not worse.
“My stomach just turned over, I’ve got a wife and daughter here most of the time,” said Robinson. “Luckily, they weren’t here at that time.”
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone who recognizes the man or the car in the surveillance video to contact them.
