Maureen Bauer wins Democratic primary for Indiana’s House District 6

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Maureen Bauer has won the Democratic primary for Indiana’s House District 6.

The results are technically unofficial until certified on June 12 due to provisional ballots.

Bauer beat Garrett Blad and Drew Duncan for the candidacy during the primary.

Bauer earned 44.71% of the vote, Blad took 39.8% of the vote and Drew Duncan garnered 15.2% of votes.

In November, Bauer will run unopposed as the Republican ticket for the seat is empty.

Bauer’s father, B. Patrick Bauer, held the seat for the last 50 years.
