Mayor Marcus Muhammad choosing not to run for Congress seat

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Benton Harbor Mayor Marcus Muhammad is choosing not to run for Michigan's Fourth District Congressional Seat. Muhammad originally announced his intention to run for the seat on his Twitter account April 1.
He cited a need to finish what was started in Benton Harbor as his main reason from pulling out of the race.
He issued the following statement below.
