SOUTH BEND, Ind.---The South Bend Police Department will now mandate officers body cameras to be activated during any interaction with civilians.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg made the request after the June 16th shooting of Eric Logan by Sergeant Ryan O’Nell.
His body camera was not recording at the time.
This morning, Mayor Buttigieg joined us live on ABC57 Morning News to answer our questions about the city’s response to the shooting.
