ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Current South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, along with his husband and his mother, voted Tuesday morning at the Boy Scouts of America, LaSalle Council's polling location.
He also used the opportunity to remind residents to get out and vote today.
“This is our future. I know that these elections don’t get the same kind of attention that national elections do but we have so much at stake, making sure we have a good city government and that’s true of the mayor’s office and the council as well,” Buttigieg said. “It’s very important not to treat the presidency as if it’s the only office that matters.”
